Lets Make a Date

It's the end of January already. Can you believe it?
It's also Thursday.  That means it's time for a new Dare To Be Sassy Thursday Challenge (#214) at Sassy Studio Designs.  This week the challenge is "Make your image Pop" (Use pop dots to "pop" your image up).  This was a pretty easy challenge for me since I usually use foam squares to "pop" up my images.  So I thought I'd make something other than a card this time.

I made a desk calender.

Lips-R20, R22
Eyes-B21, B24
Hair-E41, E43, E44
Uniform/shoes-Y13, Y15, C3, C5, C7, W1, W3
Cardstock-Recollections Jewel pack and black
Background-Computer generated
Calender-Computer generated
I've included the calenders as PDFs for your use.  Download January thru June here  and July thru December here  Each month will be 4" wide x 3 1/2" high.  I printed the calenders on cardstock. Then I cut out each month. (1/4" margin on each side and 1/2" margin at the top)  I used PVA adhesive to join the months at the top.
I popped up my image on homemade black foam squares.  Since I pop up all my images, I make my own colored foam squares.  I use Foamies sheets and cut it into 2 1/4" strips.  Then run it through my 2 1/2" XYRON twice. (once on each side)

Hopefully you'll create something and join us this week.

Thanx for looking and please comment.

Not Too Shabby Looking

Happy Thursday.  You know what that means.  Time for the next Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenge (#212) at Sassy Studio Designs.  The challenge this week is "Shabby Chic" or "Vintage" (make your projects in the shabby chic or vintage style).  I always have a challenge with this style. I have seen some amazing cards out there in this style.  But like I said, I always get stuck with this style.  Hopefully I did it justice.  Here's what I created.

Just wanted to post the card I made for my Dad's birthday today.  I got the idea from a card I saw at kwernerdesign.  Here's her card.

And here's my take on it.

The Emerald Wizard

It's that time of the week again, Thursday.  And that means it's time for the next Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenge. (#211) The challenge this week is Creative Technique (Use a creative technique to show off your image...inking, dots, airbrushing etc...to use behind your image)  I used a technique I found on Split Coast Stampers.  It's called the "Bargello Technique".  It can be found here.
Here's my card,

Love Ninja

Hey everyone.  It's been awhile that I've played along with the Hambo Hoedown. So I thought I'd start playing again.  The challenge is twice a month now.  The challenge this time is "Use an animal" on your project.  I have a few different animals from Hambo Stamps.  I chose to use a bunny.  And since Valentine's day will be here soon.  I went with that theme.  I know you're saying..."Bunnys are Easter."  Well not if he's a Ninja Bunny.

It's About Time for Another Card

Happy New Year to everyone!
What did everyone do for New Year's eve?  I did what I usually do. Fall asleep around 10:30 and wake up about 2:30 and think, "Hey it's 2014 I guess".  I lead such an exciting life.
Back to the real reason for this post.  It's time for the next "Dare To Be Sassy Thursday" challenge (#210) at Sassy Studio Designs.  The first DTBST challenge of 2014 is "Time After Time" (use clock, date, watch, etc...anything to do with time).
I guess it's "time" to show you what I made.
