I've got Worms

Does anyone remember a book called "How to Eat Fried Worms"? I remember reading it years ago when I was young.  I thought of it when I saw this week's challenge at the  Hambo Hoedown.  But why eat "Fried Worms" when you can have "Gummi Worms". Since the challenge was "anything but a card", I decided to make a Gummi worm treat bag. What do you think?

back

Stuff I Used:
Image-Fish Hooks digital image by Hambo Stamps
Colored with Copics
Worm-Y13, Y15, Y17, G02, G05
Hook-W1, W3, W5
Sentiments-Fish Hooks digital by Hambo Stamps
Corner rounder-Fiakars squeeze punch
Faux stitching-Gelly Roll metallic lime green gel pen
Bag-Snack size reclosable bag
Gummi Worms-Sweet Smiles Gummi worms

I put the worm on a hook image and one of the sentiments on the front and a second sentiment on the back.
And did you notice...I didn't pop anything up!  It was fun making something other than a card.

Thanx for looking. Now comment and I won't make you eat real worms.

Be Couragous

Welcome, you should have arrived here from Tina's blog.  If not, you can start at the beginning here at SSD and follow along.
If you've noticed, I'm new to the Sassy Studio Designs Design team.  And if you noticed that, did you know that I am their  FIRST guy design team member.  Yep, the Sassy Sisters have a brother now.  I'm loving being their little brother and part of the team.
Back to the challenge.  It's a Bingo challenge.

I played along using the Ribbon, something RED, and Flowers. And I got the Cowardly Lion Sassy as my  image.  My Red is the ribbon, cardstock boarders, rhinesones and the image of the flowers.  What type of flowers come to mind when you think of the Land of Oz?  Of course that would be Poppies.  The poppies image is from a Poppies seed packet.  There is also a flower image in the brown DP background.

So here's my card for the release hop.

I loved coloring the image.  And what is a Sassy Lion without a pair of Christian Louboutin boots.

Aren't all of the new images terrific and the previous DT's projects amazing.  Leave me a comment and then head over to Carrie's blog and see what she's created.  And if you missed any, here's the complete list of blogs in today's hop.

Thanx for looking, I know you have the courage to comment and then tell the Wizard I said Hi.

Hambo 'n' Eggs

You know why pigs can't fly? They don't have feathers.  But the cards at the Hambo Hoedown this week do.  The challenge was to add feathers to your projects.  Check out their weekly challenge at http://hambochallenges.blogspot.com/.  Every week if you play along and use a Hambo image, you get the next week's image Free.  That's how I got the "Bird Egg" digi. So I'll quit all my squawking and show you my card.

Gettin' Crafty

Thought I'd post something different than a card this time.  I took my niece to the mall for her birthday at the beginning of the month.  She turned 16 and started wearing small bows and flowers in her hair.  She bought some bows at Claire's.  They were on sale for 2/$5.  I told her I could make her some.  So on my next trip to Michaels,  JoAnn's and Pat Catan's I bought some ribbon and flowers.  I had some barrette clips and E6000 (love the stuff).  And here's some of what I came up with for her.

backs

I realized I made about 3 more that I forgot to take pictures of.
I also made a pair of spring/summer wreaths for the front doors.  Here's one.

Just thought I'd share. Thanx for looking and please comment.
